To celebrate David Hockney’s eightieth birthday and his long continuing artistic career, the Getty Museum presents a selection of highly creative self-portraits made in different media over the past sixty-five years. The exhibition also features a number of composite Polaroids and photo collages that mark Hockney’s photographic explorations of the 1980s, including one of his most renowned photo works, Pearblossom Hwy., 11–18th April 1986, # 2.
