Sponsored by the American Public Gardens Association (APGA), National Public Gardens Day helps raise awareness of botanic gardens, arboreta, conservatories and public gardens across the country.

At the Restaurant, enjoy a garden-themed herb chicken salad, along with the “Garden Beverage Bouquet,” a cocktail flight including an herbed gimlet, fresh-squeezed Jamaica margarita and a house-infused sweet bell pepper vodka with muddled mint, bell pepper and lemon. Follow that with garden-inspired small-bite desserts including a spring tartlet and French macaron.
At the Getty Villa, join Michael DeHart for a toga tour of the Villa gardens at 1:00 p.m. Afterward, enjoy the “Roman Gardens,” a special National Public Gardens Day dish in the café featuring grilled asparagus, favas, cauliflower and beets, with kale, chicory, Pecorino Romano and red wine vinaigrette.
