More than 200 Getty staffers will work with five different organizations, doing work that includes serving meals to the homeless, sorting donated food, beautifying school grounds, preparing art studios for students, and clearing invasive plants from parkland habitats. There will also be an on-site volunteer activity at the Getty Center.
“Staff will be taking time out of their usual work day and put their efforts towards giving back to our local community,” explains Jim Cuno, president and CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust. “The Day of Service is a great way to connect with Getty colleagues and make a meaningful and visible difference for many,”
